November weather usually has highs of 93°F degrees with the average temperature being 72°F. Humidity tends to be high at a 63% average.
What should I wear for the ceremony?
This is a formal event, however, seeing that it will be a hot and humid day please ensure you wear airy clothing such as linen or another breathable material so that you are comfortable. Brazil's seasons are flipped so November is almost the start of Summer.
What is the best way to get around?
Uber is a reliable and cheap service in Brazil. We recommend having the app downloaded and using cellular service to ensure you can get around.
I want to rent a car. Will my US drivers license be accepted?
Yes, your US driver's license is accepted in Brazil. Just don't take a right turn on a red light. That is only an American thing. Also be careful with speeding, Brazil has many radar cameras.
Do I need paper money for this trip?
Though Brazil is very good about accepting credit cards, we recommend exchanging some dollars in the reals to have on the trip. Most street vendors can take card, but it is nice to have the paper cash in case. The currency conversion is about 5x, so $100 should net you around R$500.
I see that Argentina is close. Can I travel to Argentina?
Yes! It is very popular to view the falls from Argentina as well. There is a border crossing in Foz do Iguaçu. Ubers cannot take you across the border, but there are taxies, tour buses, and other services authorized to take you across the border.
